Dover is All In: The 2019 NARI CotY Awards
Competition brings out the very best in our team. And when we’re talking about a contest involving home remodeling, that raises the stakes another level. At Dover Home Remodelers, we feel fortunate to work alongside so many talented residential remodeling contractors in Greater Cleveland. We push each other in a positive way, which is why it’s such an exciting and rewarding experience to compete against our peers for the NARI Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards.
Each year, NARI holds the competition in late winter and accepts entries in both residential and commercial construction renovation. Remodeling project entries for the 2019 CotY awards must have been completed between December 1, 2016 and November 30, 2018.
This year, Dover Home Remodelers submitted projects in four different project categories:
- Residential Addition: $175,001 – $250,000
- Residential Interior: $175,001 to $250,000
- Residential Bath: $100,001 to $250,000
- Basement: Over $50,000
The winners will be announced at the annual Evening of Excellence event this Friday, March 15 at the Westin Downtown Cleveland. (Stay tuned for results!) But, in the meantime, below are a few teaser photos of the projects we entered, giving you a quick glimpse of these beautiful projects.
This year, Dover’s contest submissions showed greater diversity, with all different types of remodels being represented, at various price points. Plus, these home renovation projects were produced by four different Dover designers: Shelley Bujdos, Amy Tilow, Patti Sarcusa and me. Of course, like every project, these remodels are the result of a total team effort that includes our dedicated carpenters, engineers, laborers, designers and an extended network of trade partners and industry experts who worked together to create these fabulous living spaces for our clients.
The CotY awards entry process is always a productive and positive experience for us. We’re excited to learn the outcome and look forward to sharing the results with you.
