A cramped, choppy kitchen in a classic Rocky River home opens up to beautiful new possibilities with a spacious new layout, custom cabinetry and updated appointments.
A growing family needed to squeeze more living out of their space: The total kitchen makeover involved a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen and adjoining rooms. Walls were removed to open the space, creating a larger eat-in kitchen that now flows with the sunroom and mudroom areas. Brick on an unused chimney was exposed and reappointed, creating gorgeous texture that contrasts with the re-toothed and refinished hardwood floors throughout.
Custom painted cabinetry provides both functional storage and lighted display space and two peninsulas allow for added counter-height seating. Add in new appliances and fixtures and the homeowners now have a completely updated vibe and functional space.
