A poor layout and inadequate appliances prompted the homeowners to remodel their kitchen. Clean lines, functional storage and high-end appliances were top priorities.
Unique granite for the island was purchased months before the project and was used to set the tone for other selections: Quarter-sawn maple and walnut cabinetry, Brazilian teak flooring, travertine backsplash with glass and copper accents, softened ceiling lines and two-story lighting. The result: An inviting, contemporary living space with expansive prep and seating areas, where the homeowners now enjoy cooking and entertaining.
