Dover Wins Four 2019 NARI CotY Awards
We’re so proud of our team at Dover Home Remodelers! On Friday, we were honored at the NARI Evening of Excellence event featuring the 2019 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. This year, our team won in all four categories in which we submitted entries!
- 2nd Place: Residential Addition: $175,001 – $250,000
- 1st Place: Basement: Over $50,000
- 1st Place: Residential Interior: $175,001 to $250,000
- 1st Place: Residential Bath: $100,001 to $250,000
Again, this year, we were in very good company at the NARI event where we celebrated the achievements of Greater Cleveland’s leading home remodeling contractors.
The CotY Awards include both residential and commercial remodeling projects and encompass a variety of categories and various levels within each, from bathrooms to whole-house renovations, and everything in between.
A panel of judges, who are considered experts within the industry and their associated fields, select CotY award winners based on the project description and before and after photography. Judging criteria focuses on aesthetic appeal, use of materials, functionality of space, skill and craftsmanship.
For Dover, 2019 was the year to celebrate designing women: All four of our submitted entries were managed by talented female designers: Shelley Bujdos, Amy Tilow, Patti Saracusa and myself. Of course, we know it takes a team, as these projects reflect the hard work of our skilled and dedicated carpenters and expert trades. The remodeling process is a collaboration—and these prestigious awards are as much an honor for our design team as they are for every person who worked so hard to complete these beautiful home remodeling projects.
