Dover Wins Four 2018 NARI CotY Awards
What a thrill for Dover Home Remodelers! On Friday, we were honored at the NARI Evening of Excellence event featuring the 2018 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards. This year, our team won in all four categories in which we submitted project entries:
FIRST PLACE. Residential Addition: $175,001 – $250,000
FIRST PLACE. Kitchen Remodel: $45,001 – $60,000
SECOND PLACE. Kitchen Remodel: $60,001 – $100,000
SECOND PLACE. Residential Interior: $100,001 – $250,000
As always, we were in very good company at the NARI event where we celebrated the achievements of Cleveland’s best home remodeling contractors. It was inspiring to be in a room with so much creative talent.
A panel of contest judges, who are considered experts within the industry and associated fields, select CoTY award winners based on the project description and before and after photography. Judging criteria focuses on aesthetic appeal, use of materials, functionality of space, skill and craftsmanship.
To say that I’m proud of our team is an understatement. Kudos to Dover designers Shelley Bujdos and Amy Tilow whose projects were awarded both first and second place finishes. While the designers take the lead on these remodels, we know these projects wouldn’t be completed without the hard work of our skilled and dedicated carpenters and trades. These prestigious awards are as much an honor for our design team as they are for every person who worked so hard to complete these fabulous home remodeling projects.
Beginning next week, I’ll be turning over my blog to Shelley and Amy. As lead designers, these women managed the four CoTY award-winning renovation projects and are excited to give you a behind-the-scenes tour of each, from start to finish. Here’s a little taste of what’s to come in those blogs:
