The ultimate retreat: A spa-inspired, high-tech master bathroom that engages all the senses
This dated, choppy master bathroom was the one space in their home that these homeowners couldn’t look past any longer. With its dark, heavy fixtures, a lack of functional storage, and a cramped shower and toilet space, the room needed a major re-do.

But there was one redeeming feature in the space: The dark cherry trim and crown molding. Since it is used throughout the entire home, we decided to carry it through into the new space—and the effect is stunning: The dark trim creates sharp, clean lines that beautifully frame the new bathroom and entryway.

The custom frameless vanity with glass towers and hidden charging stations offer lots of storage and eliminate counter clutter. Modern and at the forefront of technology, it features a customizable medicine cabinet with integrated LED lighting. The rounded rectangular vessel sink softens the sleek lines of the faucet and matches the rounded edge of the countertop.
The sleek freestanding tub strikes a balance between clean lines and shapely design. Its simple silhouette conveys contemporary style, while the graceful curve lends a hint of softness—another way we were able to satisfy both a masculine and feminine touch in the new space.

The state-of-the art custom steam shower offers a range of pampering options including a chromo-therapy light controlled by a digital touch pad that blends modern convenience and function with sleek styling: The ultimate spa experience!
The clean white tile adds texture with a soft wave while the gray and beige pebbled floor and accents tie into the rich wood throughout the room, for an organic, natural feel.
The sparkling finish of the chrome fixtures beautifully reflects in the shower glass. (Below is the oscillating vent that allows the steam to escape the enclosed shower.)
The new bathroom provides functional storage with pullouts in the vanity and a custom bench that features a warm cherry finish that echoes the trim.

With every detail of the project meticulously planned down to the illuminated, heated, scented toilet seat, this new space is exactly what the homeowners dreamed of. The modern Zen vibe of this light-filled bathroom offers a relaxing start and finish to each day.
