The centerpiece of this fabulous basement renovation is a wine cellar with rich custom cabinetry, wine refrigerators and a tasting table.
Opening the staircase, adding rustic doors, stone walls and dramatic lighting complete the refined entertainment space, which also includes a spacious family room area, home gym and updated bathroom.
The project earned Dover Home Remodelers 1st place honors in the prestigious NARI Contractor of the Year (CotY) Awards 2019 for Basement Renovation (over $50,000).
After 14 years in their home, this family of six had outgrown their finished basement. Their wish list included a wine tasting area to explore the wine they had collected throughout their travels; comfortable seating to enjoy television and games; and space for a pool table and home gym.
